Make sure not use any harsh chemical on clothes while washing or otherwise (starch or strong detergent).

Best way to maintain them will be to wash them separately in cold water with very mild detergent. You may dry clean them, optionally. Do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

Indigo bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes reqult in graceful fades with the passage of time.
